About Us

Our Mission

Northwood Childcare provides individualized care for infants, toddlers, preschool and school age children in a safe and positive environment guided by our educators. Our play-based philosophy allows children to develop autonomy along with the necessary social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills that foster a solid foundation for lifelong success. We work cohesively with parents to provide meaningful early learning experiences.

Northwood registration is open to children regardless of race, religion, or national origin.

Northwood is licensed by the Connecticut's Office of Early Childhood .

Enrollment

Northwood has an open enrollment policy which allows you to enroll at any time of the year. We are open 52 weeks out of the year and are only closed on the 6 major holidays. Our tuition schedule and enrollment forms can be made available to you by contacting us at admin@northwoodchildcare.com. We offer a variety of payment options for full, half days and even hourly. Tuition is paid only for days of actual attendance.

25% sibling discounts are also available.

Tuition Assistance

Childcare can be costly for many parents, especially when there are several children in the family and/or a single parent. Northwood childcare participates with Connecticut Care 4 Kids (www.ctcare4kids.com) 'C4K' is a program to help low to moderate income families pay for childcare costs. Please visit their website to learn more and find the forms you will need to apply. Northwood will be happy to help you in completing and submitting the forms.
